Shifting the Grid

The intention for this new proposal was to redefine the spatial layout by abandoning the original configuration in favor of a triangular grid system. Functional spaces emerge from intersecting triangles, organizing circulation and experience. Sculptural pods rise at key points, serving as entry markers and hubs for interaction and technology. The VIP zone features seven pods and an interactive screen, enhancing exclusivity, personalization, and dynamic communication within the space.

Ground Floor Plan

1/6 The main intention was to break from the existing plan configuration and start with a new layout

2/6 The Flagship shop is to be placed on the open and exposed part of the layout, the private, more secluded part will be the home of ‘Darak’ VIP area

3/6 An intersecting grid of triangles, arranged throughout the layout formulated bases for the masses that will house the different functions of the project

4/6 PODS’ erected from the original triangle, to start by forming two pillars that define the entry statements of the two areas

5/6 The flagship shop functions are allocated around 5 main triangles, and a central pod forms a platform for technology, communication and interaction

6/6 The 7 VIP pods are arranged to serve the VIP customers in a private area. An interactive screen welcomes the visitors and responds to their actions, in addition to any advertising material that needs to be displayed
