The Philippine Pavilion tells a new story of Filipinos, highlighting a culture shaped by long-distance travel and global resettlement. Like coral polyps riding ocean currents, Filipinos have become one of the world’s most widely connected nationalities. The pavilion, called Bangkóta, serves as a poetic expression of scientific understanding in history and archaeology.
