A Hub for Souks and Tradition
The craft center was designed and planned to create a rich heritage filled atmosphere. Two major masses were created around two central courts. Those masses were connected with their surrounding historical and contemporary buildings with alleyways and major pedestrian arcades. Most of the functional requirements of the center were allocated to surround the courts and those major axes. Outdoor plazas connected the central one naturally and organically with the surrounding forest and provided the project with vibrant spaces for outdoor events
