Formed by Trees, Framed by Forest
Built at the edge of a forest, this house is shaped by the natural placement of trees on site. Three existing pine trees anchor a central courtyard, while the boundary walls of the house shift and tilt to accommodate the presence of the site trees. The front elevation is concealed with stone cladding and solid walls, maintaining privacy, while a bridge marks the entrance point. In contrast, the rear elevation is fully glazed in glass and steel, opening the pool area to the courtyard and overlooking the neighboring forest views.
