Communal Block
A multi-family building designed to house five families in a non-typical apartment configuration. Instead of standard stacked units, interlocking duplexes rise over one another, creating dynamic spatial relationships. Some apartments, designed for extended family members, are connected by bridges that foster connection while maintaining privacy. The massing, defined in stone, articulates the individuality of each home within the collective form.
